12 Easy Pieces For Stylish Breastfeeding

breastfeeding fashion
This post is a win-win - I get to post about what I have been researching for what feels like weeks... finding easy options to feed in when BB8 (baby) arrives in a few weeks. This is a different challenge to my first who was born in winter where warmth is the only option; cue jumpers, nursing vests, unclipping your bra and then slipping an arm out. A little bulky but great to keep warm and use all your old wardrobe!

Breastfeeding in general is hard to navigate, the first few weeks especially, so the last thing you want is things which you feel uncomfortable in or have to faff with when you have a hungry baby nearby. But that doesn't mean you need to resort to all the nursing friendly tops out there sold in maternity sections which are usually drab, boring and make you feel very 'mumsy'.

Becoming a Mama shouldn't mean losing your identity or settling just because; you need to feel like your self and if that means investing in some cute new tops or dresses to do just that then you should!

Anything with a button/wrap front will be your breast-friend (sorry I had to go there!), lightweight so you can layer if you need to underneath with a vest or on top with a cardigan and pick things which have nice details, fun prints or bold colours to boost your mood too.

Here's my roundup of the best pieces to buy now:
